Xbox LIVE App Hits iOS Devices

Xbox LIVE App Hits iOS Devices

None

Those of you who own a Windows phone have already had the option to download Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE app. Well, now almost everyone else who spent too much money on their smartphone can grab a copy of the app.

The Xbox Companion app hit Apple’s App store today and it does pretty much everything that you would expect it to. Players can manage their friend’s list, send messages, view achievement and change their beloved avatar’s clothing. Although, you are limited to those clothing items that you already own. So, you’ll need to jump on an actual Xbox 360 if you want to buy another stupid looking hat.

However, Windows phone users still have bragging rights when it comes features. The iOS version does not allow users to search through their games, movies, etc. It also doesn’t allow users to use the phone as a remote for their console.

Even if the iOS version isn’t quite as functional as the Windows Phone version, it’s still better than nothing at all. Plus, now I’ll be able to taunt my friends all the time, and from anywhere.
