Even though the release of the latest Homefront game was less than stellar, a new title in the franchise is coming. This one is going to be made by Crytek, the experts in making your eyes bleed with joy while your graphics card chokes on its own tongue. The in-house studio that made the last Homefront was recently shut down by THQ, so my guess is they are thinking Crytek can just handle the game better. Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President of Core Games at THQ, said in a press release, “Homefront’s unique setting and storyline captivated gamers the world over. With Crytek’s industry leading technology and legendary experience in the FPS genre, we’re supremely confident that the next Homefront will deliver that AAA-quality experience that players demand.”
