2K Games Is Fixing BioShock: The Collection

2K Games Is Fixing BioShock: The Collection

BioShock: The Collection was a bit of a mess when it launched on PCs. The updated versions of both BioShock and BioShock 2 had problems. There were random crashes, missing audio and graphic options, and mouse issues. Fortunately, the Steam listing says a patch is on the way.

2K Games is aware of four issues that are plaguing people playing BioShock and BioShock 2 Remastered in BioShock: The Collection . It’s put together a group of all the things it will be fixing in the game’s first patch. Here’s the exact list. If you’re playing on a PC, I’m sure some of these problems will be familiar.

  • General Mouse Fixes, including better Mouse Smoothing, Sensitivity and Acceleration Options in BioShock ;
  • Additional Speaker Mode Options in Audio Settings in BioShock ;
  • Improved FoV Slider Options in BioShock , BioShock 2 and Minerva’s Den ;
  • Support for 21:9 display ratios in BioShock , BioShock 2 and Minerva’s Den ;
  • General stability improvement to reduce instances of game crashes.

However, 2K Games also acknowledges that there could very well be other BioShock: The Collection PC problems it is missing. It asks that everyone contact 2K Support so all of these troubles can be tackled head on. Here’s hoping the game is fixed and working the way it’s supposed to by sometime next month!
