50 Best Games From the 2010s Worth Playing Again

The 2010s were one of the most important decades in modern gaming. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One helped define the eighth console generation, Nintendo stumbled with the Wii U before rebounding with the Switch, and PC gaming continued to grow through digital storefronts, streaming, and online communities. The decade also saw live-service games become a major force, changing how publishers thought about updates, multiplayer, and long-term player engagement.

CheatCC looks back at 50 of the best games from the 2010s that are still worth playing today. While online games became more important during the decade, many of the era’s most celebrated releases were still single-player experiences, from massive open-world adventures and RPGs to unforgettable action games, platformers, horror titles, and story-driven blockbusters.

The decade also gave indie developers a bigger spotlight than ever before. Smaller studios released games that stood beside major AAA franchises in terms of creativity, influence, and critical acclaim. At the same time, some of gaming’s biggest franchises delivered landmark entries or major finales. This list highlights the 2010s games that best captured the decade’s range, from blockbuster hits to indie classics that helped reshape what players expected from modern games.
