First, there was Minecraft, a 3D environment builder/RPG that is all the rage. Then, there was Terraria, a 2D environment builder/action platformer that is all the rage. Now, there is 8BitMMO, a 2D environment builder/MMO that wants to be all the rage. The game was announced today via a press release. It’s a free online game where all the players currently connected can shape the world block by block. Players can build their own towns, shops, and dungeons, and a grief protection system prevents player’s creations from unwanted interference.
