Saints Row creators Volition have been working on a new project, Agents of Mayhem . It’s a single-player shooter with a comic book-esque art style. Publisher Deep Silver just released a trailer today that reveals three characters in the game. There’s Hollywood, Fortune, and Hardtack. Not surprisingly, the characters names betray their personalities.
Hollywood is an egotistical jerk. He’s a self-centered former reality TV and adult film star. Essentially he’s the character that lives to make sure everyone pays attention to him. Gotta have that, right?
The other two characters aren’t as flashy. Fortune, battles with pistols and a fighter drone she’s named Glory. Finally, there’s the beserker of the team. Hardtack is a massive dude who has an ability that allows him to put enemies in bubbles and send them off to their doom in the sky.
All of these characters will be playable in Agents of Mayhem . The game’s teleport option allows you to switch between them at will. Together Hollywood, Fortune, and Hardtack are the Franchise Force.
The Franchise Force will release in all their Agents of Mayhem glory on August 15. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
