You know how you’re not supposed to have your phone out at the movies? Well, when watching the Angry Birds Movie , have your phone out. It turns out that having the free Angry Birds Action game available during the credits unlocks more stuff.
Here’s how it works. You download Angry Birds Action and allow it to have access to your phone’s microphone. When you go to see the movie, have your phone with you. When the movie ends, bring it out for the credits and open the app. When the red badge featuring the red Angry Bird shows up on screen, open the game. You’ll get new levels to play.
This isn’t the only kid’s movie to make you pull out your phone. Remember Despicable Me? It had interactive credits too. People could download an app with a Minionator function that would translate the minions’ speech. Angry Birds Action’ s function is arguably more engaging.
