Anno 2205’s Season Pass Adds Frontiers

Anno 2205’s Season Pass Adds Frontiers

Ubisoft has been dealing with some bad publicity recently. It has a strategic simulation called Anno 2205 . People who purchased the season pass for this Civilization VI -style game thought they’d get all the DLC, because that’s why you buy a season pass. Except, Ubisoft went and released an add-on called Frontiers that wasn’t included. People were upset, and now the season pass has changed.

Because people were so vocal about their concerns, Ubisoft altered the Anno 2205 season pass content. Everyone now gets the Frontier, Orbit, and Tundra DLC with the $19.99 pass. All three are also available separately, priced at $11.99 each. People who had a season pass and bought Frontier separately before this decision will receive an email from Ubisoft discussing what they’ll do it make it right.

It’s great to see Ubisoft listen to its fans. The Anno 2205 season pass wasn’t such a great deal when it was $19.99 for two add-ons that cost $23.98 when purchased separately. And when you get a season pass, you expect to get everything. Ubisoft did the right thing, though it is a shame it took a week to make things right.
