Everyone’s talking about the Barbies with the different skin colors and body types, but another one was announced yesterday that’s pretty important too. Mattel is going to be making a Game Developer Barbie. It’s been dubbed Career of the Year, which means Barbie is a techie now.
The Game Developer Barbie comes with a headset and laptop computer. She’s dressed very casually, wearing a t-shirt, another shirt over it, glasses, jeans, and sneakers. Her hair is also a rather unnatural shade of red. It’s a pretty accurate representation.
People will be able to find the Game Developer Barbie in stores this summer. An exact release date and price isn’t available yet.
