Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 Share a Release Window

Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 Share a Release Window

When companies release games, they tend to space them out. Especially if they belong the the same genre. They’ll be out in different seasons, or at least be a month apart. EA’s doing things differently. Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 are both multiplayer, first-person shooters, and they’ll both be out within a few weeks of each other.

Blake Jorgensen, EA’s CFO, made the announcement. He said they’ll be released within three weeks of each other at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2016 Global Technology Conference. However, we don’t know which will be out first.

What we do know is that Battlefield 1 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21. That means the earliest Titanfall 2 could be released is September 30, and the latest is November 11. I have a feeling Titanfall 2 could be first, so it isn’t competing with both the next Call of Duty and Battlefield 1 , but we’ll see.
