The Battlefield 1 beta sounds amazing. EA’s brought up everything we can expect, and it sounds like so much fun. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long to experience it, since it’s launching on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 31. Earlier, if you sign up as a free Battlefield Insider before August 21, as they’ll be able to start playing before everyone else.
All of the Battlefield 1 beta content was confirmed too. Once you get into it, you’ll be able to play the Sinai Desert map in either the Conquest or Rush mode. Up to 64 people can play at once, with people able to be Flame Troopers, Sentries, or Tank Hunters. While roaming around, it’ll be possible to hop in the Armored Train behemoth or ride around on horseback.
You can actually get a better idea of how that’ll all look with a new trailer. To prepare for Gamescom 2016 and the beta, EA put together a Battlefield 1 trailer that covers these kinds of things. I’d recommend watching it, as it does a great job of preparing you for elements you’ll enjoy in two weeks.
