Don’t you love it when a game lets you do something unexpected? Like Call of Duty: Ghosts let you be Riley the dog, and Yo-kai Watch 2 lets you walk in Jibanyan’s shoes. Well, Battlefield 1 is doing that too. It turns out you’ll get to be the bird in part of the game!
You’ll be a carrier pigeon, to be exact. Right now, if you’re an EA Access or Origin Access member, you can participate in a Battlefield 1 Play First Trial. It lets you go through part of the Through Mud and Blood War Story. As part of that campaign mission, you’ll get to be the bird as you fly off to carry a message.

I think this is a really good idea. It’s an effective means of showing what things could have been like during World War I. Plus, it shows that Battlefield 1 isn’t like any other war game. It takes things a step further and offers a different perspective.
