There are always pre-order incentives for games. Often, they’re extra missions. It’s easy to wonder if they’re worth that day-one commitment. With Far Cry Primal, they might just be, as you get to be a mammoth if you commit to a copy of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Windows PC game.
The three Far Cry Primal pre-order missions are called Duel of the Beasts, Hunt the Hunters, and The Trapped Elder. You can kind of get an idea as to each one’s purpose from the name. In each one, you’re a mammoth.
Here’s the official pre-order mission trailer. It shows a shaman giving Takkar something to drink, then him going through the three mammoth missions as a result.
Far Cry Primal will be released on February 23. Pre-order it before then to unleash the beast within.
