Bethesda’s Prey Launches in May

Bethesda’s Prey Launches in May

Is it kosher to reboot a one-game “series” without changing the name? Bethesda seems to think so, as they’re set to publish the Arkane Studios-developed (and confusingly-titled) Prey worldwide on May 5.

This first-person action game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC puts you in the shoes of an amnesiac trapped on a space station called Talos I. You are the subject of an experiment to “alter humanity forever,” though something goes awry and you’re suddenly faced with hostile aliens who want you dead. Cute! The new trailer below provides a glimpse at how Prey will play. Spoiler: It looks like an updated version of the first one.

Pre-ordering Prey will grant you the typical AAA-standard DLC pack of character-enhancing items and unnecessary consumables, including two MedKits. Boy howdy! How ever would I have survived without those?
