BioShock Infinite Has Been Delayed

None

Unfortunately, it looks like BioShock Infinite will not be coming out this year after all. A recently press release by 2K games has announced that BioShock Infinite has been pushed back to February 2013.

Ken Levine, Creative Director of Irrational Games, made this statement in a press release: “When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”

Thus far, 2K and irrational have been very open about the development of BioShock Infinite. Though playable builds have been few and far between, we have seen more than enough previews of the game in action. Perhaps this year they will have an even greater presence on the E3 show floor when the convention kicks off in June.
