2k Games just announced the Borderlands 2 $100,000 Loot Hunt, an upcoming event for Borderlands 2 that starts on October 11 th at 10AM Eastern and end on November 7 th at 5AM Eastern. The event will introduce special targets within the game and then ask players to take them down. The players that take down the targets will be entered into a prize drawing featuring, yes, up to $100,000 in prizes.
Specifically, one player will win $50,000, while four others will earn lesser amounts that total up to another $50,000. Other prizes include PS Vitas with Borderlands 2 pre-loaded, Borderlands 2 SEVEN headsets from Turtle Beach, a complete Nvidia Shield PC streaming setup, Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 graphics cards, copies of the Borderlands Game of the Year Editio n strategy guide, and lifetime supplies of all 2k titles on Steam.
In order to participate in the event you have to head on over to the special-event website. There, you have to log in using your SHiFT account information.
