Wordfeud Cheats & Cheat Codes for Mobile

Wordfeud is a 2010 mobile game developed and published by Bertheussen IT. The game takes the principles of the popular board game Scrabble, and brings them to mobile devices so you can enjoy it on the go. Available on both iOS and Android, the game remains one of the most popular mobile titles on the market, with millions of players worldwide.

The general concept of Wordfeud is simple: two players take turns forming words on a grid by placing letter tiles. These tiles have a value assigned based on the difficulty of using them, with premium squares set around the board which multiply these values if you can use them. Extra points are also earned whenever you use longer or less common words. This means that you’ve got to really think about every single move. Sure, you could use a particularly high-scoring letter, but what if there’s a better place for it later on? Wordfeud really is a game that tests your mind.

You begin the game with a set of letter tiles which you use to start the game with. Every time you play a word, you draw more at random, giving Wordfeud an interesting dynamic of luck. A game can be won or lost on the tiles you draw. The entire board is set out exactly like a Scrabble board, and it’s no coincidence. The influence is clear for all to see, a common theme with many mobile word games.

Unlike Scrabble, which is mostly played as a board game in person, Wordfeud is entirely online, pitting you in a game of wits against opponents all around the world. At any moment, you can play against up to 30 opponents at a time, hopping between games whenever you please. You can leave these games for as long as you’d like, and play your next move whenever you’re available. Both players don’t need to be online simultaneously for Wordfeudgames to progress, and the other player will receive a notification when a move is made.

Wordfeud Main Characters

In Wordfeud, you’re not going to find any sort of story or main characters. This is player vs player action, where forming words is the name of the game. Due to the game allowing you to play with up to 30 players at a time, you’ll technically be interacting with many different ‘characters’ while you game. These can even be people you know, with social media integration being a key element of the gameplay.

Wordfeud Titles in the Series

As of right now, Wordfeud remains the only title in the series. Due to the nature of the game, it’s the sort of title that doesn’t necessarily need to be iterated on, so a sequel would be mostly pointless. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. After all, there’s no sequel to Scrabble, so why would Wordfeud be any different?

Gamers that are still hopping onto Wordfeud know exactly what to expect from the game, so expect to see it stick around a while longer yet. Perhaps when the current game’s influence wanes, we’ll see some form of shake-up, but that’s not coming any time soon.

Wordfeud Cheat Codes

There’s one way to ‘cheat’ in Wordfeud.

Because Wordfeud is a multiplayer-exclusive experience, you’re not going to find any cheat codes implemented in-game to give you an advantage. It has the potential to break the entire game, but there’s still one route you can take for a leg up on the opposition.

Online, there are several Wordfeud helpers where you can enter your letters, and it will give you a bunch of possible words that you can use to win your games easily.

The above are all sites that you can use to cheat in Wordfeud, but they aren’t the only ones. There are also sites for the other languages which can be found online. In fact, two of the above sites have options to change your language and use other Wordfeud dictionaries, so you don’t have to look far.

Is There A Dictionary for Wordfeud?

The dictionary for Wordfeud is based on the official dictionary of the language you’re playing in. For example, if you play the game in English, you will use the English dictionary! As mentioned above, you can still use cheats even if you’re playing in a dictionary other than English.

Supported languages include Danish, Dutch, English, French, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish.

Why Are There No Official Wordfeud Cheats?

It wouldn’t make sense in this instance. Wordfeud is a game about using your brain to come up with the perfect solution to a complex situation, and cheat codes would simply make it far too easy.

You could even make the argument that using third-party sites to beat other players online is against the spirit of the game, but that’s on the individual to decide.
