Campaign Matchmaking Coming to Halo: Reach

Campaign Matchmaking Coming to Halo: Reach

None

While some may have feared that Bungie wouldn’t fully support Halo: Reach post launch, given they will no longer be working on the franchise, those fears can be put to rest. According to Bungie’s weekly update, they already have a few additional things in store for their final Halo release.

There was a post announcing a patch bringing campaign matchmaking to the game stating “The first matchmaking update for Reach will occur in early October and consist primarily of fixes for bugs and balance issues. We’re not done testing them all yet, but when they’re ready we’ll fill you in on all of the little details. We’ll also be adding some game types and Forge maps. Co-op campaign will be going live in October as well. Campaign matchmaking will not take into account what your current progress is, so if you’re worried about spoilers make sure you finish campaign before jumping into this playlist!” There was also a mention of things like Rocket Race and Firefight Versus coming to Reach, however, those were listed as coming “sometime down the road.”
