Club Nintendo, the service that Nintendo started in order to give rewards to people who register their purchased Nintendo products, is shutting down. The program will be shutting down this April, however they will be debuting a brand new customer loyalty program which will take Club Nintendo’s place in the near future.
Users will be able to spend any Club Nintendo points they like before the programs shut down. However, it’s still unclear what will happen to Club Nintendo promotions, most notably the Mewtwo Smash Bros. DLC that everyone is working for. We will bring you more information about Club Nintendo’s closure as it becomes available.
