The Collector’s Edition for Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster was announced by Square Enix today for the PlayStation 3, and will only be available for purchase exclusively through Square Enix’s online store for $79.99.
As if that wasn’t a bummer for some people, this might be: this Collector’s Edition will only be available for North America, and will not be distributed in other territories.
The PlayStation Vita version will be sold as a two-in-one pack, which means you’ll get Final Fantasy X HD Remaster as a game cartridge and Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster as a PlayStation Network download voucher, and will only be available as a download voucher.
The Collector’s Edition will come with a 40-page hardback artbook, a blu-ray soundtrack with over six hours of music set to both Final Fantasy X / X-2’s most memorable moments, and five lithographs of artwork and characters.
Both these titles will be available on March 14, 2014, and will support cross-save functionality with the PS3.
