March is definitely proving to be quite a significant month for videogames, considering Titanfall and Dark Souls II will be dropping in that month. The HD re-release of my first introduction(s) into the Final Fantasy series will be releasing in that month too, Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD , and a new trailer has been released showing off its new features across the two re-releases.
The trailer shows off enhanced visuals like sharper texture quality and a touched-up UI, as well as obligatory trophies and cross-platform compatibility, and also enhanced music too. What’s more, Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD will feature 20+ hours of additional content never before released in North America.
Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD will be dropping on March 18 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Its Collector’s Edition , having been announced last December, will only be available through Square Enix’s online store. The PlayStation Vita version will have Final Fantasy X as a cartridge, and Final Fantasy X-2 as a digital download voucher. In related news, the director of Final Fantasy VII recently talked about an HD remake for the game.
