Conan’s Clueless Gamer Is Becoming a Show

Conan’s Clueless Gamer Is Becoming a Show

Have you ever seen Conan O’Brien’s Clueless Gamer? It’s a segment that occasionally airs during Conan. Once a rare sketch, it’s become a regular feature where Conan plays a video game, something he doesn’t do often and isn’t good at, while we watch. It’s become so regular and popular that it will now be its own show. TBS will begin production on Clueless Gamer next month.

The full Clueless Gamer series will do exactly what the brief segments on Conan do. He’ll take a game and attempt to play it. Occasionally, a celebrities will join him on his journeys into virtual worlds. We don’t know when the first episode will air or what games might appear on the show.

I’m not sure how I feel about Clueless Gamer becoming a regular thing. It’s a segment that I rarely enjoy, to be honest. I enjoyed the Final Fantasy XV installment a lot, but wonder if there’ll be enough meat for it to go the distance. Besides, if Conan ends up playing games regularly, can he still be considered clueless?
