Destiny 2 ‘s first expansion has been officially announced and revealed thanks to the Sony PlayStation conference at Paris Games Week 2017. Bungie showed off a new trailer through Sony for Curse of Osiris, the first DLC for Destiny 2 .
The title is the dead giveaway for what to expect within the DLC. Those who have played the original Destiny will recognize the name Osiris, since he had an entire multiplayer mode of his own. He was a revolutionary thinker amongst the Guardians and almost destroyed the Vanguard. In Destiny 2 ‘s Curse of Osiris, players will search the planet Mercury for any trace of him. The trailer shown at Paris Games Week was a quick teaser explaining the nature of the player character’s mission in seeking Osiris. When you find him, you’ll also discover whether or not he can be your ally or powerful enemy.
Included in Curse of Osiris will be all sorts of locations on Mercury and its Infinite Forest. There will also be new strikes, missions, raid content, a world quest, free roam activities, and even more. Curse of Osiris also includes a brand new social space called the Lighthouse to enjoy with your friends and party members.
Thankfully, this announcement also included a release date. Surprise, it’s very soon! Destiny 2 ‘s first DLC, Curse of Osiris will release on December 5, 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Will you be searching the nooks and crannies of Mercury for a look at Osiris?
