Days Gone New Game Plus Will Arrive Next Week

Days Gone New Game Plus Will Arrive Next Week

Days Gone was released back on April 26, 2019, so people should probably be close to finished with the open world adventure, right? Well, if they are, then there’s another reason to head off and fight more Freakers. On September 13, 2019, a major update will arrive that adds new game plus. This new mode will definitely make people want to hop back on the bike again.

To start a Days Gone new game plus file, people will first have to finish “I’m Never Giving Up.” Once that is done, people can go ahead and begin a new game plus file. This will have six difficulty options to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard, Hard II, Survival, and Survival II. When your next run does begin, you will have all of your bike upgrades, challenge perks, collectibles, credits, encampment trust levels, NERO boosters, and trophy progress. So, say you already earned the Wannabe Fortune Hunter trophy for getting 50% of the collectibles in the game. When you start a new game plus, you don’t start fresh. You still have that 50% counting and can work toward The Broken Roadshow by getting over 75% of collectibles.

As for new content, some of the features being added on September 13, 2019 were revealed. Both Hard II and Survival II are new difficulty levels for both standard and new game plus files. Though, we don’t know what will make them more difficult than Hard or Survival. A new weapon will appear, though nothing was mentioned about it yet. Also, there will be new Trophies to hunt for in Hard II, Survival II, and new game plus. Basically, expect to spend a lot more time with the game.

Even though critical and fan reception for Days Gone was mixed (though we liked it ), it has been receiving plenty of support. There are regular Challenges with perk released. It is getting updates like new game plus too.
