It looks like nothing will stop the Dead or Alive series from releasing title update after title update. The latest Dead or Alive game is called Dead or Alive 5: Last Round . Supposedly, it will be the last game in the Dead or Alive 5 series. Why the heck is a numbered title it’s own series?
Anyway, Last Round will once again feature balance updates, new stages, a new graphics engine called the “soft engine” which focuses on “shading around the chest” to define form and shape. Yes… really… that’s not my words that’s theirs. They are also teasing new characters including a female characters that will be the “biggest” character yet. Uhhhhh….

Anyway, the game will have a bundle package that you can pick up normally, or a downloadable version which will just update the game. Right now it is only pegged for release in Japan, but we will likely see it come stateside.
