Double Dragon Neon Hits PSN, XBLA This September

None

Developer WayForward has announced that Double Dragon Neon, its cheeky reboot of the classic 80s-era brawler series, will release on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade this September.

PlayStation folks will get in on the action on September 11, a day before their Xbox counterparts, who’ll be able to bro out on September 12. The title will cost $9.99 and 800 Microsoft play money points, respectively.

Double Dragon Neon is being touted as an all-new experience that pays homage to the old school style of the original Double Dragon titles. Players will return into the shoes of twin brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee through the game’s drop-in/drop-out “Bro-Op,” a pun that will most surely go down in the annals of video game infamy when the game launches this fall.
