At CheatCC, we realize that some of our readers may live across the pond, and, for those readers, we have some absolutely fantastic news. Sony has announced today that Batman: Arkham City will lead the charge of free games being added to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection for UK members. The list will update starting on December 5th and includes a total of six games being added across both the PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita platforms. Residents of the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United Arab Emirates will have access to these games. There’s been no announcement made concerning North American PlayStation Plus members.
The list of new games being added is as follows:
- 5th December: Batman: Arkham City (PS3)
- 5th December: LIMBO (PS3)
- 5th December: Vanquish (PS3)
- 12th December: Big Sky Infinity (PS Vita and PS3)
- 19th December: Mortal Kombat (PS Vita)
- 21st December: Knytt Underground (PS Vita and PS3)
While newcomers enter the ring, that means we must say some goodbye to some old favorites. The following games will be removed from the Instant Game Collection:
- 5th December: Crysis 2 (PS3)
- 5th December: Scott Pilgrim vs The World (PS3)
- 5th December: Double Dragon Neon (PS3)
- 19th December: Chronovolt (PS Vita)
- 21st December: Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (PS Vita)
Again, no announcement has been made regarding residents in North America.
