Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Cheats & Cheat Codes for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is the sequel to its 2009 fighting game, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast. The game features an impressive roster of over 100 playable characters. Out of these, more than 20 are making their debut in the Raging Blast series, with six being completely new to any Dragon Ball video game.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Premise

The gameplay in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 takes a familiar route, similar to the first Raging Blast game, featuring destructible environments and character-specific attacks. As one can imagine, the game also includes transformations true to the series. Signature moves, known as Pursuit Attacks, allow players to devastate opponents using explosive attack combos.

Adding a twist to the combat is the new Raging Soul system, which elevates characters to a special state, maximizing their combat power. The Raging Soul mode not only enhances the character’s strength and defense but also dramatically changes the environment, with the sky darkening and a purple aura enveloping the character. This special mode is even required to access some of the secret stages.

Many of the main Dragon Ball anime characters are also found in the game.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast Titles in the Series

While there are dozens, if not hundreds, of games in the larger Dragon Ball series, there are only two game titles in the Raging Blast series. This means that Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 was the last of the series, although similar fighting games in the Dragon Ball universe have been released since.

  • Dragon Ball: Raging Blast (2009)
  • Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 (2010)

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Main Characters

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is an authentic Dragon Ball experience, which draws from the Japanese media franchise created by Akira Toriyama in the 1980s. The characters in the game come straight from the pages of the manga that were made renowned worldwide by various anime series. The game features dozens of characters, but some of the main characters are as follows:

  • Goku: The main protagonist in the Dragon Ball series, the protector of Earth, and a Saiyan.
  • Gohan: Goku’s first-born son with Chi-Chi, a miniature version of the powerful Saiyan who possesses the powers of his father.
  • Vegeta: The last prince of the Saiyans, who thinks he is the most powerful warrior in the galaxy.
  • Trunks: The son of Vegeta and Bulma. He’s a half-Saiyan half-Human who has an alternate universe version, Future Trunks. Also, both are able to access the Super Saiyan transformation.
  • Krillin: One of Goku’s friends and classmates. The bald-headed happy-go-lucky martial artist.
  • Piccolo: The most prominent Namekians, the green-skinned humanoid species, and the trainer of Goku’s son Gohan. Known for massive personality and size.
