The economic woes continue at EA. EA Black Box, the development responsible for the Need for Speed and Skate franchises, is being dismantled. The studio will be gradually shut down over the next several months, with key development talent getting shuffled up to EA’s studio in Burnaby B.C. Don’t fret too much though. Skate 2 is still in the polishing phase and will released as scheduled.
