Battlefield 1 is a game that’s going to continue to grow and expand. DICE has promised paid and free content, giving people new adventures, maps, equipment, and experiences. But now, we’re getting a tease for the first expansion. They Shall Not Pass’ first concept art has appeared, with a note saying, “Soyez prêts.” What does that mean? “Be ready.”
How do we know this is related to They Shall Not Pass? Simple. The first expansion will add the French army to the game. “Soyez prêts” is French. It’s coming in March 2017 and will apparently add other things as well. We don’t know what battles or maps could appear, but perhaps this tweet means an announcement is imminent?
In the meantime, Giant’s Shadow access is going to open to everyone this week. That’s an entirely new map that was first made available to premium pass holders on December 13. We all get to enjoy it on December 20!
