Well, I suppose this was bound to happen. Fallout 4 is just a week away, and for the past few days we’ve been seeing a ton of leakage on the internet. Screenshots, gameplay, details, you name it; someone spilled the beans, and impatient fans and curious sideliners alike are spreading the content faster than a nuclear apocalypse.
Now I can’t tell you exactly what is out there, because I haven’t seen it. I plan to play and love this game, so I don’t want anything spoiled for me. Obviously that’s not an issue for most, and Bethesda’s Pete Hines is kind of pissed off about the rate at which people are sharing footage. He took to Twitter to answer a few questions from “fans” who had the nerve to ask him about certain details they had uncovered through leaked screenshots. Hines refused to answer any questions regarding leaked information and stated that he’d likely block anyone who tried to ask him for details. When asked how he felt about the whole situation he simply replied, “Upset.” No doubt he’s feeling a little betrayed, and I don’t blame him.
It’s eight days away, people: don’t spoil the game for yourself and for others, and don’t support the attention seekers who are leaking the information with your clicks and views.
