We all thought it was coming, but now it’s official. Fallout 4 has been confirmed for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. This news comes from the official teaser website, which went live slightly ahead of the end of its countdown clock. It shows box art for the title confirming that the game is current gen only, but doesn’t provide much more info than that. The Fallout 4 website went down shortly thereafter, after the mistake was realized, and the countdown clock resumed, but it later came back up when the site officially launched along with an official Fallout 4 teaser trailer.
The trailer shows off a lot about the game, moreso than just pre-rendered cinematics. This time around, the game seems to jump back and forth between the pre-nuclear and post nuclear era. We get to see game environments both thriving in an idyllic colorful version of a 1950’s future and wrecked by nuclear carnage.
But most importantly, you get to have a dog again! You’d better name it Dogmeat! Call of Duty taught us that every game is better with a dog, and this is no exception.
