Pokemon Crystal Cheat Codes for Game Boy (GB)

The second generation of Pokemon doesn’t change much of the core foundation. It is more of an iterative generation, where Game Freak opted to polish and expand rather than revolutionize with new mechanics. Pokemon Crystal is the definitive way to play the second generation of Pokemon. It was released in Japan on December 14, 2000, and came to the rest of the world the following year. In retrospect, Pokemon Crystal is one of the high points of the franchise and can be credited with keeping interest high while Pokemon fans’ interest was waning.

Pokemon Crystal Premise

Everything that made the original Pokemon great can be found in Pokemon Crystal. This title specifically enhanced the aspects of Gold and Silver. It improved the aesthetics and graphics while adding a choice to the intro for which player character you want to experience the game with. Pokemon Crystal also introduced a Battle Tower, a new stadium that allows players to battle a series of seven trainers with three Pokemon set at customizable maximum levels to win prizes.
