Fans remain cautiously optimistic about the upcoming remake of Final Fantasy VII. Since the gameplay trailer was revealed, Square Enix has been doing its best to keep consumers updated on what they have planned for the game. In a recent interview with Famitsu magazine, Square Enix detailed just a little bit more about what it has in store.
For starters, the scenario for the first of the multi-title series has been completed. The story plans on focusing a bit more on the characters Biggs, Wedge, and Jesse. Finding out more about these characters has been a longstanding desire of fans. Clouds auditory hallucinations will also be imbued with more meaning than they were in the game’s original iteration.
The game’s battle mode will also come with options to suit a player’s preferences in play style. The team is also bringing in core members of the Kingdom Hearts 3 development staff to assist in production. Still no word on a release date, yet, though. I guess we’ll all just have to stay tuned for more information.
