Final Fantasy XIV Gets Un-Broken

None

Ever since its release last year, Final Fantasy XIV has been broken. Underwhelming quest structure, an awful item creation scheme, and a market system that didn’t quite make sense were chief among a huge list of complaints that users had about the game. Final Fantasy XIV was so bad that, even though it has been out almost a year, no one has had to pay for it yet. It simply hasn’t been good enough. However, that could all be changing very soon.

A massive patch is set to hit Final Fantasy XIV within the next few weeks that will fix hundreds of problems with the game. Though the list is far too long to post here, highlights include the addition of seasonal events, a complete overhaul of the marketplace system, an improved job system with new quests, enemy and field changes to the battle system, and several new battle situations, including the much-requested Ifrit boss battle. There’s no firm release date yet, but producer Naoki Yoshida has told eager fans to expect the patch to hit sometime this summer.
