There hasn’t been much in the way of Final Fantasy news, lately. Most recently, we were made aware of upcoming crossovers between Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV at Square Enix’ E3 2018 event. We’ve since had the Monster Hunter: World portion of the event detailed, and now we know what will happen within Final Fantasy XIV’s world of Eorzea.
What know at this point is that the MMO’s Monster Hunter: World event will challenge players with difficult content, which means that to get the most of the crossover, players will have to reach max level. There will also be an encounter with the iconic Rathalos from Monster Hunter, which comes in two difficulty options. Participating players will have a chance to unlock Poogie and Palico minions, a Rathalos mount, and Rathalos armor. They can also unlock a barbecue spit. Rad!
The event launches in Final Fantasy XIV on August 7, 2018, so you have until then to get leveled up and ready for the content! Also, if you’re a Final Fantasy fan and have been interested in checking out Monster Hunter: World , that game will be hosting Behemoth starting August 1, 2018 .
