Nipopon Ichi has just revealed screenshots of their upcoming game htol#NiQ , which was once such a mystery. The game, called Hotaru No Nikki in Japan and Firefly’s Diary here in the states, allows you to play as a firefly who is guarding a young girl named Mion through the darkness. Shadows will come into play quite a bit, and creatures made entirely of shadow will frequently attack Mion along with actual creatures in the physical world. You will have to control both a firefly of light and a firefly of darkness to guide Mion out of the underground world she is trapped in.
htol#NiQ will be released on June 19 th , 2014 for the PlayStation Vita.
