David Maisel has moved from superheroes to casual games, recently joining Rovio and the Angry Birds team. “The business model, intellectual properties, and the franchise potential of Angry Birds give Rovio the most exciting prospects I have seen in the entertainment business since Marvel in 2003,” Maisel said. This statement, coupled with the fact that Rovio recently bought a Finnish animation studio, makes it safe to assume we’ll be seeing the epic tale of birds versus pigs coming to the big screen.
