Game Releases This Week — April 27, 2026 to May 1, 2026

As if the rest of the month wasn't one of the busiest of the year so far, April is closing out with a bang this week, bringing with it a ton of exciting new game releases vying for players' time, attention, and hard-earned cash. The standout of this week's release calendar is undoubtedly Saros, Housemarque's long-awaited spiritual successor and follow-up to the excellent Returnal, which will unfortunately remain a PS5-exclusive unlike its predecessor. Also arriving this week is the latest expansion to Diablo IV, Lord of Hatred, which introduces not just new classes and story content, but a major shake-up to how Blizzard's live-service ARPG handles its endgame and seasonal model moving forward. As usual, several other titles are joining these bigger hits that are just as worthy of your enthusiasm.
