The new list of characters for BioWare’s upcoming Mass Effect 2 has begun to be revealed by the game’s creators. Last Thursday, on the official Mass Effect 2 community site, BioWare officially announced that Thane of the Drell race will be making an appearance in the game. Thane is “one of the most feared assassins in the galaxy,” and will be just one of the many new characters you’ll have to try and recruit to your cause. While we already knew about Thane from our time with the developers at E3 2009, Grunt – a new Krogan fighter that’s as tough as he is unpredictable – was revealed this morning in Germany. While little was revealed about this Krogan, it is known that he will serve a similar role in your quest as Wrex did in the original. As such, it may be tough to keep him as loyal as you’ll need him to be. More character reveals are forthcoming, according to BioWare.
