Get Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Multiplayer on PC for $15

Get Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Multiplayer on PC for $15

Activision is in the midst of a little experiment. If you head onto Steam, you can get a Call of Duty: Black Ops III experience for $15. Mind you, it isn’t a full experience. It’s a temporary opportunity to get the multiplayer aspect of the game for $14.99 until February 29.

Here’s how it works. You pay the initial fee for the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Starter Pack. You then get access to all Public Ranked Multiplayer Matches, as well as the Arena, Black Market, Freerun, Gunsmith, Theater, and Weapon Paint Shop. You don’t have access to the Campaign, Dead Ops Arcade II, Nightmares, or Zombies modes unless you upgrade to the full game. You also don’t get to play in custom matches, go to unranked servers when they launch, or use mods.

Aside from the stripped down features, there’s one other notable limit on Call of Duty: Black Ops III’ s Multiplayer Starter Pack. You can’t go past level 55. A cap is in place, and you need to upgrade if you do want to go further.

On the plus side, the cost of the upgrade is only $45. If you enjoy yourself, what you already paid applies to the full purchase.
