Sony has remained hermetically secretive about the new Ghostbusters , and while we know all about the all-female cast, we don’t really know anything about the actual characters. In fact, we haven’t really even had a good look at the new Ghostbusters, until now. Feast your eyes on the first promotional image of the newest motley crew of paranormal enforcers.
Ever since the original film took the world by storm 30 years ago, Ghostbusters has been celebrated as a brilliant mix of sharp-witted comedy, supernatural action, and suspense. The cast seems perfectly fitting to that end, composed as it is of Saturday Night Live vets and larger-than-life personalities. For the first time we see Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones decked out in full Ghostbusters regalia, and they look totally badass. Fans across the board are affirming their full faith in Paul Feig to give this franchise the reboot it deserves. Now if we could just get a trailer, please!
