Green Man Gaming is one of the many online storefronts selling video games. You may remember them from their deals, or the most recent The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt controversy in which the site was selling $39 keys for the game that CD Projekt Red claimed were stolen. Well, something else is brewing that may turn you away from that site. Green Man Gaming credit will expire in one month.
People can earn credits for games with Green Man Gaming. This happens when they refer people, write reviews of games, or even play games they’ve purchased through the site. This can be put toward future purchases. However, this promotion is at an end. On November 24, all Green Man Gaming credits will expire. People will need to use them before that date or lose them. Credit can still be earned in the normal methods prior to that point and existing credit can be put toward pre-orders.
Fortunately, a new credit system will be implemented after the current one is shut down. Green Man Gaming is working on a replacement loyalty program and will announce details in the coming weeks.
