GTA IV DLC Dated and Detailed

None

In a USA Today article, Rockstar’s Dan Houser fleshed out a bit of what we can expect from GTA IV’s DLC, The Lost and the Damned. For starters, players will take on the role of a new anti-hero, Johnny Klebitz, a member of the Liberty City biker gang known as The Lost.

“Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background,” says Dan Houser, vice president of creative development for Rockstar Games. “I can’t go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City.”

Whereas most DLC brings with it new weapons, costumes, and a level or two, GTA IV’s add-on will deliver “hours” of new content. Of course, all that new substance comes at a price. Michael Pachter, gaming industry analyst at Wedbush Morgan Securities sees the DLC going for around $20, and that Rockstar is likely to sell 2-3 million downloads.

This new episode, will be available on February 17th exclusively for Xbox 360, and requires purchase of the original GTA IV game disc.
