Rockstar announced today that GTA: Chinatown Wars will not only be coming to the PSP, it will also be heading to Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch. “Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive gameplay on Apple’s new gaming platforms.”
Rockstar wasn’t finished either. Apparently, Beaterator will also be getting ported to the very same Apple portables. “The simple, pick-up-and-play nature of Beaterator lends itself so well to the Apple platforms,” stated Houser. “We are happy to deliver an application that allows for such unprecedented sharing and ease-of-use.”
Unfortunately, pricing and release dates for both of the games was not yet revealed. |
