The game was released for Microsoft Windows on 3 June 2013 soon followed with versions for OS X and Linux. Gunpoint received generally favorable reviews by critics and players. The game currently sits at an 83 on Metacritic.
The Premise Of Gunpoint
Gunpoint is set in the near future. You play as freelance spy Richard Conway. Your job is to infiltrate buildings to fulfill assignments from your various clients. This entails avoiding guards and bypassing security features with the aid of high-tech gadgets. Players gradually uncover a murder mystery as they attempt to clear your name for crimes you haven’t committed. The game is divided into a number of missions that involve hacking computers and then making your way to the exit. Initially, missions are provided in a linear order with optional missions becoming available later.
