Halo 5: Forge Requires Windows 10 Anniversary Edition

Halo 5: Forge will arrive on PC next week, accompanied by a new update to Halo 5 on Xbox One called Anvil’s Legacy . That update will overhaul the Xbox One version of the Forge to complement a new suite of features being made available for the PC version. Designing and crafting your own custom levels and game types will be easier than ever with a mouse and keyboard, and you’ll even be able to host or play online matches with up to 16 players!

That is, as long as you have Windows 10 Anniversary Edition. The rest of the minimum and recommended specs have been released – check em:

  • intel Core i5 at 2.3Ghz or AMD equivalent

  • 2GB VRAM

Recommended

  • Windows 10 Anniversary Edition

  • intel Core i5-3570k at 3.4GHz or AMD equivalent
  • GeForce GTX 970
  • 4GB VRAM
  • 8GB RAM
  • HDD 40GB

Ultra (4K)

  • Windows 10 Anniversary Edition
  • DirectX 12
  • Intel Core i7-4770k at 3.4GHz or AMD equivalent
  • GeForce 980 Ti
  • 6GB VRAM
  • 16GB RAM
  • HDD 40GB

If you can meet the minimum, you’re good! Which shouldn’t be too hard, so long as you’re rocking Windows 10.
