Coming this Holiday, exclusively for Xbox 360’s Kinect, Dance Central from MTV Games and Harmonix will give players “the first dance game that’s all about real, immersive, full-body dancing.” The soundtrack will include a mix of genres including Pop, Hip-hop, and R&B. Confirmed artists include Lady Gaga, No Doubt, The Beastie Boys, and Bell Biv DeVoe. Choreography features true dance moves, even including routines taken straight from the original music videos. The game is made to be challenging as well as very accessible. In a mode called Break it Down, novices will be able to learn each of the moves one step at a time and seasoned dancers can hone their moves to a razor’s edge. From the brief demo given, this looks very user-friendly and will likely be a very popular launch title.  |
