New Hot Shots Golf is going to be coming to the PlayStation 4, but you won’t have to wait for it to drop to enjoy a Hot Shots sporting experience on your console. It turns out Hot Shots Tennis is going to make a comeback. It’s going to be the next PlayStation 2 game to come to the PlayStation 4, and you’ll be able to play it on September 13.
Hot Shots Tennis is one of those sports games that had a robust single player experience. You could go through a Training mode to learn how to play or Challenge Mode to prove yourself through seven different difficulty levels. It was a pretty huge experience for the time, with 14 players and 11 themed courts.
And now, it’ll be even better on the PlayStation 4. When Sony brings PlayStation 2 releases to the game, it means they’re upscaled, have trophies, and support features like Remote Play or Share Play. You can prove your prowess in a whole new way while you wait for the next opportunity to be a Hot Shot.
