Nate Fox of Sucker Punch took to the stage during Sony’s PlayStation 4 event to introduce an exclusive title: inFAMOUS: Second Son.
Nate admittedly did an excellent job selling the setup for Second Son, which turns the nightmares of every conspiracy theorist into a reality. The setup is actually quite simple: Big Brother has taken over, and it’s up to a group of rag-tag individuals to save the day.
Conviently, they have superpowers.
How the game will tie into the first two entries in the inFAMOUS franchise remains to be seen. Judging from the fact that this new title is called is inFAMOUS: Second Son and not inFAMOUS 3 , my guess is that it’s simply a spin-off.
No gameplay was shown, just a CGI trailer, so I wouldn’t be shocked if we don’t see the game anytime soon.
